Islands Without Islands is an early 2000s-inspired hypertext scientific illustration of the California Channel Islands' history and ecology! Click on images and blue text to learn how 14 different animal, plant, chemical, and human presences in this ecosystem are connected, and how they led to the rescue of endangered island species in the 1990s and 2000s.

This work was created for my Born Digital Literature class in my senior year of college. All illustrations are created by me. I claim neither ownership nor official affiliation with any included external links, works, or organizations, and they have been linked and/or cited within the work.
